1.     Order and Payment

Once you have selected the items, please confirm the details on the order page and click the send button to submit your order. All prices are shown in sterling. If you are ordering from a non-UK address your credit card company will apply the appropriate exchange rate.

All prices quoted include V.A.T at the current rate of 17.5% where V.A.T has been applied to the product.

The amount for postage and packaging is shown separately to the order price.

All major credit/debit cards are accepted via a secure server.

We accept no liability where correct payment details are processed by a person other than the lawful cardholder.

Cheques are also accepted with orders being dispatched when the cheque has cleared. Cheques to be made payable to Sarah’s Baby Gifts Limited. Please note that there is a delay for cheques to clear before the order is dispatched.

We will return acceptance of your order by e mail. Upon receipt of this we will dispatch your order.

You have deemed to have accepted these Terms of Business once you have confirmed the order.

Orders placed will be held at the price advertised at the time the order was made.

Orders placed before 12 noon (GMT) will be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 12 noon (GMT) will be dispatched the following working day. Orders placed after 12 noon (GMT) on Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.

2. Product and Description

We aim to give an accurate description of all items through our website. However, slight variations in colour, size and general appearance should be accepted.

If any aspect of a product is substantially different to the description at the time of an order being placed we will notify you.

Where a product is unavailable a suitable alternative will be offered. Should you choose to decline the substitute product there will be no obligation to continue with the order.

We reserve the right to alter the price of any product at any time. We accept no liability for prices falling once an order has been placed which may have affected the cost of your order. However, we will endeavour to ensure that fair warning is given of price changes where possible. 

3.  Privacy

We will comply with all UK laws governing the protection of your personal details and information.

All credit/debit card transactions will be carried out via a secure server with the assistance of a reputable online payment company Worldpay who also endeavour to protect customer privacy.

Your details will not be passed on to any other companies but we will retain them on our database for future reference.

4. Copyright

This website is protected by copyright laws. Any material taken from this site and used elsewhere must be done only with the copyright owner’s permission.

5. Comments/compliments/complaints

In order to maintain the high standard of service and customer satisfaction we welcome your comments and suggestions for improvement. If you wish to make any comments please use the Contact Us link on the website.

6. Limitation of Liability

Except as specifically stated on this Website, to the fullest extent permitted at law, neither Sarah’s Baby Gifts nor any of its directors, members employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website. For the avoidance of doubt, Sarah’s Baby Gifts Limited does not limit its liability for death or personal injury to the extent only that it arises as a result of the negligence of Sarah’s Baby Gifts Limited, its directors members, employees or other representatives.

7. Events Beyond Our Control

We shall not be liable to you for any delay in, or performance of our obligations under this agreement arising from any cause beyond our reasonable control including, but not restricted to the following; invasion, act of war, act of God, act of Government, failure in information technology or telecommunications, labour dispute, fire, flood, industrial action, explosion of civil commotion.

8. Returns and Refunds

You reserve the right to cancel the order at any time up until it is dispatched although this may incur a £5.00 charge to cover administration costs. Any cancellations must be made in writing (email or post).

In the event of any breakages or damages the customer (the person who purchased the goods) must notify Sarah’s Baby Gifts in writing by post or email within 7 working days of delivery. We will be happy to replace any of these items if returned in the original packaging within 7 working days of delivery. Please obtain proof of posting from the Post Office, as we are not responsible for parcels lost in transit to us.

Should you change your mind we will be happy to refund your product provided it is returned in good condition (unworn) and in the original packaging within 7 working days. We will confirm the decision to refund your purchase in writing.

We will only authorise a refund to the credit/debit card originally used for payment once the returned product is received by us in the original packaging within 7 working days of delivery.

If the payment was by cheque we will issue a cheque for refund once the goods have been received by us in the original packaging within 7 working days of delivery.

Any postage costs incurred as a result of returning products to us will not be refunded, except where the product is returned to us and found to be faulty we will refund.

We must receive all returns in the original packaging and condition.

If you do not notify us of any problems with the product/s within 7 working days of delivery we will take this to mean you are satisfied with the quality of the product/s.

9. Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, but do not affect your statutory rights.

When placing an order with Sarah’s Baby Gifts Limited you are making an offer to purchase the goods contained within that order. We reserve the right to accept or decline that offer. We do our utmost to ensure that the prices displayed on our website are correct. However, we reserve the right to validate those prices before we process your order. We will not accept liability for any errors in the description of goods on the website, and can change those descriptions at any time. We will however do out utmost to correct any problems as soon as we become aware of them.

Sarah’s Baby Gifts Limited can only be held liable for loss up to the cost of the product (s) purchased. We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use, or your inability to use our website.

We do not guarantee that our website is free from viruses or other infecting programmes.
